Dear School Admin,
We have not released fee collection because money must be correct.
Messaging and attendance are already live in Clasa. Fee collection is still in development.
A payment can succeed, fail, be retried, refunded, or settled late. The receipt, school record, bank settlement, and parent view must all agree. We will not call the feature ready until that complete flow works.
What fee-collection providers charge
₹10 per student becomes ₹2.4 lakh a year.
When a fee-collection provider charges ₹10 per student per month, a school with 2,000 students pays ₹2,40,000 a year for the software subscription.
₹10 × 2,000 students × 12 months
₹2,40,000 a year₹1 × 2,000 students × 12 months
₹24,000 a yearAt the ₹1 target, the same school would spend ₹24,000 instead of ₹2,40,000 on the software subscription. ₹2,16,000 stays with the school—a 90% reduction, or one-tenth of the provider example.
Targets, not live claims. ₹1 per student per month is our current cost target. The 4× target means routine fee work should take about one-quarter of the current time. Both targets will be tested with schools before launch. Final pricing and results may change. Payment-gateway, bank, tax, transaction, and implementation charges are not included.
Before launch
This must work.
- 01Every payment has a clear status.
Paid, failed, pending, refunded, and retried payments cannot be confused.
- 02Receipts and settlements match.
The school record, parent receipt, and bank settlement must reconcile.
- 03Pricing stays predictable.
The headline price should not hide the cost in compulsory add-ons.
- 04Office staff can use it.
Daily collection, follow-up, reporting, and support must be simple.
An invitation to schools
Help us build the right workflow.
Tell us how your school collects fees today, what your provider charges, and where staff lose time. We will use that input while designing the product.
